Intense wildfires broke out on the morning of October 8 in Paradise, California. Evacuation was ordered immediately; although, while some took the chance to leave, others decided to stay with their property. Residents have asked for assistance from President Trump but he has avoided these questions and instead focused on blaming the leaders of California claiming they need more control in the state. At least twenty-three people have died and over 7000 buildings have been burnt down. The effects of the fire have not only cost lives but will have after consequences such as mudslides as winter rain comes.

First and foremost, the tragedies that have happened lately are petrifying and hopefully every last person that has been affected by this may get the resources he or she needs. Those who want to stay with their property have every single right to, but it is best to save the lives for those and others and the most efficient way to do that is evacuation. President Trump should immediately stop discussing what California leaders should or could have done and start funding the state to help build what was lost and provide for those in need. The lives of those who are suffering are far more important than small mistakes. There should be a set plan on the future of California especially since there may be possible mudslides; furthermore, the last thing the state needs is another tragedy.
